I was also one out of four in my graduating class of 20+ to attain a Journeyman Electrician license from the City of Jackson, MS. Requirements: • Electrician trade certification (309A), • At least 2 years of experience as a Construction/Commercial Electrician; • Ability to install, replace and repair electrical control and panel boxes; • Experience with surface mount and overhead cables installation; • Ability to test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults; • Experience with electrical systems design and renovation is considered an asset Salary rate is $30.00 per hour.
